New England Hot Buttered Rum
Ingredients
- 2 oz Rumson's Grand Reserve Rum
- 0.75 oz Maple Syrup
- 5 ounces hot water
- Cinnamon, fresh ground nutmeg and a pat of butter

Preparation
Hot Buttered Rum is one of our favorite winter drinks. Alex Murray of Lighthouse Liquors in Beverly knocked it out of the park with his version listed here.
Pour hot water into a mug, then add the rum and maple syrup and stir. Finish with the cinnamon, nutmeg and butter.
